These aren’t your grandma’s pearl earrings! This new generation of pearl earrings is here to make a statement. Over the years the pearls have become more and more exaggerated and mixed with other metals for a chic and modern take on this classic gem.
Another trend of pearl earrings is that they are no longer perfect spheres, but of different shapes. These irregular and natural pearls are called baroque pearls which can be seen in many influencer photos on Instagram.
